Just received this. Renewed. Model number 14G5-9120c-8-32, HP Chromebook 14 G5. Research says this was released in 2018, with a June 2024 AUE. However this has been extended to June 2026, per ChromeOS, additional details. So buyer beware. I think this will be good for a long time though, my guess at least 10 years plus. My 14 year old 2008 ASUS 1000HD still works fine, but no further updates. So with that minor disappointment, the specs for this is what I was looking for at a good price, so it will do fine for my needs. Touch screen works, keyboard is backlit, looks brand new, no fingerprints or scratches. I'm planning on going overseas, so having a web-based OS was important to me, didn't want to be downloading stuff. Just need Quicken on the Web, and Office.com for Excel and Word. My cell can do the rest if need be. For the price, if this thing lasts 2 years, I got my money's worth. After that, it is all a bonus. I had been looking at $2000 Windows 11 laptops, so a pretty good bargain. EDIT: I found the model number of this laptop 8ZQ88UT and found it is a 2020 model. 2 USB-C ports, 2 USB-A ports, headphone jack, and a MicroSD memory card slot. My Canon MG5220 printer wouldn't print from it, not supported, but found a pay app that worked at the Play Store. Luckily I can also use the MG5220 scanner. So all is good.

I decided to move from Windows to Chromebook and don't regret it at all. I was so tired at how long Windows took to load every time I turned it on and the fact that after a few years, I started having to reset Windows every few months. But the Chromebook is so fast and sleak because it's all online and doesn't have baggage apps slowing it down. Look forward to my $250 going a long way. Beats the $1500 I spent on my Windows laptop 4 years ago.

Replaced an older Chromebook. It’s used for browsing the web and works perfect.

I love all the updates on this chromebook. The resolution display and the color is much better than my old one. Just wish the keyboard had backlight.

I wasn't sure what to expect with this Chromebook since it didnt have many reviews when I bought it. But for the specs and price, I figured it was worth a shot. My daughter has been using it for a few days now to access school work and she's very happy. It set up lightning fast, has a solid build quality, and is very light. Its still early, but we're both happy with the purchase so far.

This is the second one I ordered was returned due to a bad keyboard. The replacement works great. For the price, I do not know how you could beat it.

I used this work work and it does an amazing job, the memory is a bit low, but I use a SD as backup memory. Which is like $30. But for $140 bucks nothing beats it
