Thrilled at this laptop. Battery life is decent, keyboard is very tactile and well made. Screen is clear and crisp. Laptop is minimalistic and efficient. Buy with confidence.

I needed to get a small and light laptop to carry around for school (my previous one was an absolute brick) and so I decided on this one. It is very light and my back definitely hurts way less. The battery life is also pretty good but if the laptop is completely out of battery it will take a while after being plugged in to turn back on (I originally thought it was broken and it is very inconvenient if you need to use your laptop right after plugging it in... it takes a very long time for it to charge up enough from 0% to turn back on). Also the battery is not an external battery so if you're having issues with the computer freezing and nothing works (like yours truly), you just have to wait for the battery to drain so it will turn off. The amount of storage is pretty amazing too and for the price, the specs are extremely decent. Now for all my complaints about the laptop... The power on/off button is sandwiched in between the "delete" and "backspace" button... which is a huge issue because I end up shutting down my laptop or putting it to sleep quite often (my clumsy fingers don't really help me at all). The fingerprint reader doesn't work at all despite the fact I tried to set it up twice (it was set up perfectly fine but just doesn't recognize my finger after setup). These last complaints are more of a personal preference thing. I absolutely hate the keyboard, I typically use a keyboard that doesn't have space bordering each key, typing on this laptop just feels so wrong. Combined with the power button issue, using this laptop feels like a chore. Also the screen doesn't push back very far, it has a very limited range of motion. All of the other laptops I have used have had much more range of motion than that and It is quite annoying if there is a glaring light above or behind you and you cannot adjust your screen angle to accommodate that. Also, I dislike the charger brick. The brick and the plug are one unit instead of the power plug being separate from the transformer. The large brick doesn't always fit into the outlets that I need to plug them into (during class or at the library, a lot of outlets are recessed into the tables and you can only really access them if you have a normal power plug). These are Windows 11 complaints. Windows 11 completely sucks in my humble opinion. My microphone and camera are not detected at all so I have to use another computer when I want to join zoom calls, or chat with friends over Discord. I have tried to look up the issue and none of the solutions work. You can't really move the task bar around like you could with all other releases of Windows. Also, if you try to install any other version of Windows on the laptop, it just won't let you. I reinstalled Windows 11 thinking maybe a fresh install would fix my issues and it didn't. I know my camera and microphone work because I installed Linux on my system and my camera and microphone work just fine so I believe it is some sort of driver issue. I should have returned the laptop but I thought that I would get used to its quirks and everything would be fine. I have used many laptops in my time (Dell, Mac, Lenovo, etc), this is by far the worst laptop I have ever used. I cannot stress enough how frustrating it is to used this laptop. I shouldn't be having such a hard time using a laptop for someone who is three years into a Computer Engineering degree. Also, as a student, I really thought I was spending my money well but now it is too late to return the laptop.

When you type on it, it does stuff. When you stream a video you can watch it. When you play a game... I have no idea what it does, but it is a snappy little laptop
