Side by side comparison to my old Asus laptop and my surface pro laptop 💻. Surface pro is a ten for me! Fast, easy, touchscreen, speaker clarity, Bluetooth, wifi, drawing with a touch screen 🖊 it’s all perfect for my little tiny baby projects 😃 I managed to connect my old dinosaur printer wirelessly and works perfect! Oh and yeah my iPhone 11 is also linked 😀

I needed a light laptop to take to a writing conference and this was the perfect one! Then my regular desktop bit the dust and I've been using the laptop for all my work and it is not letting me down. Great value for the price and I even love the ice blue color.

The media could not be loaded. This is the fastest laptop I've ever own. I have a podcast studio in the opposite end of the house as my wifi, which my other PC and a Chromebook I tried wouldn't stay connected to stream podcast. This Surface is epic, it not only has perfect connection, it allows me to do multiple things at once while live streaming a podcast. It's not what isn't compatible but there's a LOOKYING smart pen that works perfect for under $15,

Keyboard stopped working after 12 days of use and I cannot fix it. Tried to rstart, update and even so the keyboard is not working , only the virtual one on the touch screen . I'm waiting for a return from Amazon assiistance or Microsoft to see if it can be fixed but it was a great disapointment, moreover considering my classes are gointo strat next week and I really need a laptop.

Be sure to check out my full video review in the video section above! I have not found many computers on the Windows side that come close to the experience of the now deceased and wonderful 12" Apple Macbook except for the Microsoft Surface Go laptops. Small and light laptops like this typically come with some compromises, and this one is no exception. It has relative short battery life (around 6-7 hours tops), no backlit keyboard, a low resolution display (just a notch above 720p), 8GB RAM maximum and limited storage upgradeability. But it makes up for those shortfalls in performance. Web browsing and Office apps are super fast and zippy on this machine which now has graphics performance that was lacking on the prior model. While not a gaming powerhouse by any means it is able to run many modern games at 720p at or around 30 frames per second. In my review we were able to get Red Dead Redemption 2, No Man’s Sky, and the Witcher 3 running at decent frame rates. The cooling fan is also noticeably quieter vs. the original too. Physically it’s the same high quality piece of hardware as before, right down to the non-backlit keyboard and low res display. But it has a fit and finish that few laptops at this price point have – it is engineered with the same attention to detail as Microsoft’s considerably more expensive devices in the Surface lineup. Bottom line it’s not for everyone. But for those looking for a full featured Windows PC that’s small, lightweight, and functional there are not many other choices at this price point. Microsoft focused on what needed fixing here and delivered a very nicely performing laptop that I think is a good value at its asking price.
