I ordered this laptop to replace an eight year old HP Pavilion laptop running Windows 7. My old laptop had a broken hinge which would be such a hassle to replace right now that I decided to just get a new budget laptop that I could use right away. My price range was $500 or under; and I wanted something light, with decent processing power. This laptop fits the bill as far as size (14 inch screen, thin form factor), weight (about 3 pounds), and value for price (about $460.00 including tax and shipping). I chose to upgrade the standard configuration by doubling the SSD size and doubling the RAM. The seller shipped the laptop fairly quickly; it was delivered in less than two weeks (custom builds like this take longer than standard, ready-to-ship configurations). The laptop arrived in perfect condition; very well packed in the original HP box, with the original plastic wrap and removable screen shield. The power cord was also in the original packaging. Over all it looked brand new, despite the seller breaking the seal for the upgrade. (They are very upfront about this.) It was easy to set up, and I was up and running fairly quickly. I removed on star because I dislike the Windows 10 Operating System, so this is not a reflection on the seller in any way. They were great, and responded to a question I had after purchase within 24 hours. Ultimately, this is a pretty good budget laptop for someone looking at Windows 10 machines in this category. It runs fine, looks great (silver case with HP logo), is light enough to be highly portable, and fills the basic needs of web surfing word processing, and storage.

I got this after a spill took out my previous laptop. The price was right and I liked the feature set. I paid extra for the 1TB SSD and it was worth it. While the processor is not the fastest, this is a good utility laptop. The only thing that would make it better is an illuminated keyboard.

It was a little smaller and thinner than I would have liked, similar to a chromebook, but fast, nice graphics, decent battery life. Only has numbers at the top of the keyboard, not the side.

Excellent laptop for the price.

This 5 star review is for the seller. The laptop seemed fine but started shutting itself down randomly after a few days. I spoke with the seller who couldn't help me fix the issue but accepted the return and issued a prepaid shipping label. Great customer service!

I am giving this a very low rating because after 1.5 years of use, the LCD panel went out and the computer was unusable; HP told me it would cost almost $400.00 to fix it and I paid a little over $500 for the computer, but bought two of them. I used it for school (I am a professor at a small university) and I carried it around to and from school and between classes, but did not bang it around. I believe a laptop should last a bit longer than this which is why I am giving it a bad review. The person I dealt with at HP concerning the computer was helpful, but considering I had purchased two of these at the same time, and this one lasted such a short period of time, I expected a bit more from their customer service. My next purchase of a laptop will not be an HP laptop. I had much better luck with the Asus that I purchased which lasted 5 years. So I will go back to that brand.

This so far is a light fast unit. It also is all plastic and keyboard squeaks a little so I ordered three year warranty but am very pleased with 3/20/21purchase.

This laptop is a great value for your money. It's not thick at all and it's extremely light. I miss a touchscreen, but this does everything I need and want it too. Everything from internet searches to gaming to word processing.
